One hundred and thirty-two kilowatts at eight bar delivers 28,000 l/min. This machine tends to be the backbone of the compressor room in large production plants — one holds the base demand while smaller machines come in at the peaks.
Why 8 bar
Eight bar means 28,000 l/min against 30,000 at seven, or 7 % less. That is a more noticeable difference than on the smaller classes, where it runs around two percent — so on the 132 kW the pressure is worth choosing with particular care.

The dimensions of 2,700 × 1,650 × 2,150 mm, weight of 3,050 kg, DN 80 outlet and noise level of 78 dB(A) are identical across all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
The smaller SCR-110/8EPM2 gives 24,000 l/min in a lower enclosure, the larger SCR-160/8EPM2 adds 3,000 l/min in an identical frame. The difference between the 132 and the 160 kW is therefore mainly price and consumption rather than space.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Permanent magnets, IP65 protection and no bearings to grease. On 132 kW the difference against an IE2 motor is five to six percent of consumption — and the machine runs constantly.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling joins motor and airend — no belt to slip and eat into 28,000 l/min. One maintenance item that simply is not there.
Frequency inverter
The band from 7,500 to 28,000 l/min is covered without shutting down — the machine comes down to 27 % of output. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
New-generation airend
The new airend raises efficiency by up to 16 %. On 132 kW in continuous operation that is the single largest saving after the inverter. Engineered for 20 years.
SCR9000 controller
It shares a cascade of up to sixteen machines out on its own. On a machine needing 25,000 m³/h of ventilation the installation is usually several units — and the control system is not rebuilt when it grows.
What the machine needs in the compressor room
At 28,000 l/min that is 1,680 m³/h. A machine this size heats the compressor room by itself, and in continuous operation putting its waste heat to use is worthwhile practically always. Ventilation 25,000 m³/h, DN 80 outlet.

In installations of this size what matters is how the machines work together — the controller will sequence up to sixteen compressors with no master panel, so the set can be extended without touching the control system. The detail is in the SCR-EPM2 range.
On the smaller machines in the range that difference is around two percent. Here it is felt, which is why the pressure is worth measuring first and setting second.
