Fifty-five kilowatts at eight bar — the most common combination in this class. Eight bar is the industrial standard and leaves headroom in the pipework for the pressure drop before the air reaches the last point of use at the far end of the hall.
Why 8 bar
Eight bar means 11,500 l/min, a thousand less than the seven-bar setting. That is roughly eight percent of the air for one bar — plus seven percent of the consumption. Choose eight bar only when the pipework genuinely needs it.

The dimensions of 1,900 × 1,350 × 1,650 mm, weight of 1,550 kg, DN 50 outlet and noise level of 76 dB(A) are identical across all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
The next size up is the SCR-63/8EPM2 with 13,000 l/min in the same frame. The real step comes with the SCR-75/8EPM2, where the frame changes, the weight goes up by 360 kg and the outlet moves from DN 50 to DN 65.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Permanent magnets, IP65 protection and no bearings to grease. On 55 kW the difference against an IE2 motor is five to six percent of consumption — and the machine runs constantly.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling joins motor and airend — no belt to slip and eat into 11,500 l/min. One maintenance item that simply is not there.
Frequency inverter
The band from 3,000 to 11,500 l/min is covered without shutting down — the machine comes down to 26 % of output. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
New-generation airend
The new airend raises efficiency by up to 16 %. On 55 kW in continuous operation that is the single largest saving after the inverter. Engineered for 20 years.
SCR9000 controller
It shares a cascade of up to sixteen machines out on its own. On a machine needing 15,600 m³/h of ventilation the installation is usually several units — and the control system is not rebuilt when it grows.
What the machine needs in the compressor room
A weight of 1,550 kg and a footprint of 1,900 × 1,350 mm means the machine has to get into the compressor room and the floor has to carry it. At 11,500 l/min that is 690 m³ an hour — and it is that figure, not the motor power, that sizes the dryer and filtration.

Your installation, though, is just one and it can be measured. If it comes out at seven bar, you save seven percent of consumption over the whole life of the machine.
