The 22 kW machine set to ten bar delivers 3,500 l/min. It is the highest pressure you will get out of the small cabinet, and it suits sites where several consumers want ten bar at once — not one machine on its own.
Why 10 bar
Ten bar means 3,500 l/min against 4,100 l/min at seven. The loss is 15 %, which for a ten-bar setting is little — on the 15 kW machine it is 23 %. Control goes down to 1,100 l/min, just under a third.

Dimensions 1,200 × 800 × 1,100 mm, weight 560 kg, outlet R 1" and noise 66 dB(A) are identical at all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
The smaller SCR-18/10EPM gives 2,900 l/min at the same pressure, the larger SCR-30/10EPM goes straight to 5,200 l/min. If ten bar were not needed, the same machine as SCR-22/7EPM adds 600 l/min for nothing.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
A closed oil circuit and a bearingless design mean one less service item. On 22 kW it adds 5–6 % of saving against an ordinary IE2 motor on top of that.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling transmits the power with no belt losses. On a machine meant to run daily, what matters most is what does not need checking.
Frequency inverter
It comes down to 31 % of output, that is 1,100 l/min, and does not have to cycle. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
Screw airend
A reground profile and optimised ports. On a machine giving 3,500 l/min the airend is the one part that cannot be improved afterwards — which is why it is new.
SCR9000 controller
A graphical schematic shows what is happening inside, the service schedule reminds you about the oil change. It runs a cascade of sixteen compressors with no separate control cabinet.
What the machine needs in the plant room
At 3,500 l/min you have 210 m³/h compressed to ten bar. Higher pressure means more condensate, so the separator and the condensate drain downstream have to be sized for it. Noise of 66 dB(A) and ventilation of 5,400 m³/h are the same as at seven bar.

On ten-bar systems it pays to watch air quality — higher pressure means more condensate. Dryers are in compressed air dryers, receivers in air receivers. You can compare the whole range with its other pressures in the SCR-EPM range.
On the smaller machines that penalty is almost double. If it has to be ten bar, better to take it from a bigger machine.
