The strongest bare machineThe strongest bare machine of the SCR-APM Maxi range. Fifteen kilowatts and a range of 1,000 to 2,000 l/min — the upper limit is double what the smallest model manages.
For plants with high demand that have a central receiver and air treatment. Or as the lead machine in a set-up with a smaller one covering peaks.
What sets the SCR-15/10APM apart
The highest output in the range
1,000 to 2,000 l/min, or 60 to 120 m³/h by volume. The lower limit is already above the upper limit of the 7.5 kW machine.
The same cabinet as the 11 kW
900 × 820 × 1,040 mm and only 5 kg more. Five extra kilowatts cost nothing in floor space.
Control instead of cycling
The inverter holds the speed to real demand. On a machine this size, idle running is the most expensive mistake you can make.
The largest saving in absolute terms

What is inside
The airend, the permanent-magnet motor and the oil reservoir are joined into one assembly by a tapered coupling. Around them sit the air and oil filters, the cooler with its fan, the controller and the inverter cabinet.

Where the savings come from
35 % — no idle running
The inverter varies speed smoothly with demand, so the machine draws no power in the moments when nobody is taking air.
15 % — no pressure you do not need
On the IT7000 you set exactly the pressure you need. Every extra bar costs consumption.
5 % — no transmission losses
The motor joins the airend directly through a tapered coupling. Against V-belts that removes the loss, the tensioning and the replacements.
3 % — efficient IE4 motors
Permanent magnets and oil cooling. Efficiency exceeds the requirements of class IE4 under IEC EN 60034.

All models: 10 bar, 400 V / 50 Hz, three-phase. The dryer and condensate drain run on 230 V / 50 Hz, single-phase; the dryer power draw (370 W on 7.5 kW, 460 W on 11 and 15 kW) is not included in the compressor figure. Noise is quoted at 1 m. FAD measured to ISO 1217 at the maximum pressure of the model.

The table comes from the manufacturer catalogue and runs in rows of 7.5, 11 and 15 kW. The SCR-15/10APM draws 15 kW, so its row applies directly. And crucially: the figures assume a machine running at full power — this one holds its speed to the real demand, so it only draws full power at peak.
How idle running happens
A fixed-speed compressor runs in cycles. After starting it compresses air and the motor is on load. As soon as it reaches the pressure required, it switches to idle running — it no longer makes air, but the motor keeps turning the airend and consuming energy.
Idle running makes the next start easier, but it lasts tens of seconds and spends energy for nothing. The manufacturer states it is usually tens of percent of total consumption. And an awkward rule applies: the less air you draw, the larger the idle share — and that is exactly where the biggest saving is waiting.

Service and maintenance
Cheaper upkeep
No V-belt replacement or tensioning, no cracked or leaking hoses, no main-motor bearing changes, no coupling or gearbox service. A direct drive has nothing to maintain.
Genuine parts and lubricants
To keep output up and failures away, only genuine fills and filters belong in the machine. You pick the part from the documentation or from the marking on it inside the machine.
Service network
Maintenance is covered by a wide network of service partners, so needless call-out costs disappear.
You do not have to buy — SCRent rental
You do not have to buy a new compressor. The SCRent programme lets you take the machine on a five-year long-term rental with monthly payments — in cooperation with Raiffeisenbank.
The monthly payment is not simply the price of the machine divided by sixty. It covers everything the five years of operation will bring. The only thing you pay separately is the electricity you use.

With a receiver, dryer and pre-filter the same machine is the SCR-15/10APM-270D, in the top equipment level the SCR-15/10APM-270FF. The weaker bare machine is the SCR-11/10APM. We also carry air dryers on their own for other machines.
Cabinet, footprint and height are identical. If you are torn between them and have room for the 11, you have room for the 15 — and the inverter only runs on what the shop actually uses anyway.
