The 30 kW machine set to ten bar gives 5,200 l/min. It is the smallest machine in the range that still clears five thousand litres a minute at ten bar — below it, ten-bar settings lose ground sharply.
Why 10 bar
Ten bar brings delivery down to 5,200 l/min against 6,200 at seven, a drop of 16 %. Control goes down to 1,300 l/min, a quarter of output — so the machine copes with very small demand without cycling.

Dimensions 1,300 × 1,000 × 1,370 mm, weight 830 kg, outlet R 1½" and noise 68 dB(A) are identical at all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
The smaller SCR-22/10EPM gives 3,500 l/min, the larger SCR-37/10EPM 6,500 l/min. On the 37 kW, though, the lower control limit is 2,300 l/min, so at low demand the 30 kW is the more flexible of the two.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
A closed oil circuit and a bearingless design mean one less service item. On 30 kW it adds 5–6 % of saving against an ordinary IE2 motor on top of that.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling transmits the power with no belt losses. On a machine meant to run daily, what matters most is what does not need checking.
Frequency inverter
It comes down to 25 % of output, that is 1,300 l/min, and does not have to cycle. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
Screw airend
A reground profile and optimised ports. On a machine giving 5,200 l/min the airend is the one part that cannot be improved afterwards — which is why it is new.
SCR9000 controller
A graphical schematic shows what is happening inside, the service schedule reminds you about the oil change. It runs a cascade of sixteen compressors with no separate control cabinet.
What the machine needs in the plant room
Five thousand two hundred litres a minute is 312 m³/h. That is the volume the dryer and filtration are sized on, and at ten bar a dryer is practically compulsory. The plant room ventilation has to handle 6,400 m³/h, otherwise the machine will run hotter and trip out sooner than you expect.

Ten bar and more than five thousand litres means a serious distribution system — and a serious receiver, which you will find in air receivers. The condensate from that volume of air is handled by the dryers in compressed air dryers. The whole range is compared in the SCR-EPM range.
It goes down to 1,300 l/min, whereas the 37 kW stops at 2,300. When demand falls to nothing overnight, you notice.
