The smallest rotary screw compressor in the range, meant for a workshop that already has a receiver. It gives 320 l/min at ten bar, weighs 180 kg and takes up 0.39 m² — less floor space than a pallet.
Why 10 bar, and how it is regulated
Ten bar is the ceiling, but you set the pressure on the controller and the inverter then holds it all the way down to four bar. The 3 kW is the most frugal machine in the range in absolute terms, yet the dearest per litre: 86 l/min per kilowatt against 128 on the 4 kW.

All three outputs share the 650 × 600 × 860 mm enclosure, the weight of 180 kg and the noise level of 65 dB(A) — they differ only in air delivered and energy drawn. The last column shows how many litres you get from each kilowatt of input.
How it differs from its neighbours
And that is the catch. The SCR-4/10APM draws just 8 % more power but delivers 59 % more air — 510 instead of 320 l/min. Unless you are buying for a single air tool, the 4 kW is almost always the better buy. The 3 kW makes sense where demand is genuinely small or the supply is weak.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Cooled by oil straight from the airend, with efficiency above IE4 class. On 3.7 kW that means the motor will not overheat even running continuously.
Direct 1:1 drive
The airend bolts straight onto the motor. No V-belts, no gearbox, no flexible coupling — and so no tensioning, no replacements and no losses eating into 320 l/min.
INOVANCE frequency inverter
Vector control developed specifically for screw compressors, with torque from 0.1 Hz. Speed follows demand steplessly, so the machine never idles.
Low-speed screw airend
An in-house airend with a modern rotor profile. Low speed means less wear and a noise level of 65 dB(A) — the level of ordinary conversation.
IT7000 touchscreen controller
A seven-inch colour display, a weekly running schedule, a fault log and automatic restart after a power cut.
Where the machine fits
Without a receiver the machine stands only 860 mm tall, so it will go under a bench or into a cabinet. It does need a receiver, though — without one the inverter would chase every twitch in demand. If you have no receiver, go straight for the SCR-3/10APM-200D package.

Equipment
An air filter protects the intake; oil and separator filters clean the oil. The combined valve controls intake and unloading, and the cooler keeps oil and air at temperature. Servicing is done from the front — take the cover off and everything is within reach.
