The middle of the threeThe middle machine of the SPINN Large range. Eighteen and a half kilowatts and 2,590 litres per minute. It is taken where the 15 kW is getting tight and the 22 kW would be oversized.
For sites drawing around two and a half thousand litres per minute — several air stations, a continuous line, a paint shop with longer spray runs.
What sets the SPL-18/10 apart
2,590 l/min from 18.5 kW
375 litres per minute more than the 15 kW. The increase costs 3.5 kW of input power and two decibels.
69 dB(A)
Between the 15 kW and the 22 kW. The enclosed canopy holds noise at a level a compressor room handles without further soundproofing.
Vertical oil separation
Three-stage and built upright. Oil is separated from the air in three steps, so very little of it reaches the pipework.

What is inside
The latest-generation S67 screw block, driven from the electric motor by V-belts. Air leaving the block passes through vertical three-stage oil separation — in the photograph that is the tall black vessel.
The Infologic2 controller with a monochrome display oversees operation and tracks the 2,000 – 4,000 – 8,000 running hours service intervals. Oil level is checked through a sight glass on the outside of the machine, with no panel to remove.

The highest delivery in the range, 3,090 l/min, belongs to SPL-22/10. The same machine with a 500-litre receiver and a dryer on one frame is SPL-18/10D-500. Lower ratings are covered by the ABAC SPINN Maxi range, and a receiver for a standalone machine you will find among our air receivers.
The steps in the range are not equal. If you are torn between the 18.5 and the 22, you are buying a bigger increment than in the step up from the 15.
