Fittings kits and connecting hoses for air receivers

Everything a stand-alone air receiver needs before you connect it to the compressor. The fittings kits contain a safety valve set to 10.5 bar, a pressure gauge, ball valves for the air inlet and outlet, a condensate drain valve and the mounting hardware.
Connecting hoses link the compressor to the air receiver or the dryer and absorb vibration that would otherwise be transmitted into the pipework. They are rated at 20 bar and come in sizes from 1/2" to 2" and in lengths from 1 to 2.5 metres.
KVP and KVG fittings kits
Each kit is put together for one vertical Baglioni vessel of a given volume and pressure. KVP kits belong to painted vessels and KVG kits to galvanised ones, which have some of their connections arranged differently. For 720, 1500, 2000 and 3000 l, both kits have the same parts.
Safety valve
Set to 10.5 bar, so the kits suit compressors with a cut-out pressure of up to 10 bar. Up to 270 l, it has a 1/4" thread and a flow capacity of 244 Nm³/h; from 500 to 1000 l, a 1/2" thread and 484 Nm³/h; from 1500 l, a 3/4" thread and 1024 Nm³/h.
Ball valves
Two of them, one for the inlet from the compressor and one for the outlet to the air network. They are 3/4" for 100 to 270 l, 1" for 500 and 720 l, 1 1/2" for 1000 and 1500 l and 2" for 2000 and 3000 l. A third, smaller valve is used to drain the condensate.
Pressure gauge
With a scale of 0 to 16 bar. For vessels from 100 to 270 l, it is 63 mm in diameter with a rear connection; from 500 l, it is 100 mm in diameter with a bottom connection and a test cock for the inspector’s check gauge.
Mounting hardware
Reducers, elbows, nipples, plugs for the unused connections and sealing rings. Thread sealant is not included in the kit.

The kit does not include the vessel, connecting hoses or an automatic condensate drain. You will find vessels with the fittings already mounted and complete documentation, including the TÜV certification of the pressure assembly, among our fully equipped pressure vessels.
FP and FPL connecting hoses
Rubber hoses with crimped end fittings for a flexible connection between the compressor, the air receiver and the dryer. They withstand a working pressure of 20 bar and temperatures from −40 to +100 °C, and they are unaffected by compressor oil and condensate.
FP: straight ends
A straight swivel nut with a female thread at both ends. Suitable where the hose runs in a loose curve between two connections.
FPL: 90° elbow
One end is straight, the other bent at a right angle. This lets the hose turn away from the connection right at the vessel or the wall.
What is supplied
The hose with its swivel nuts and two male-thread adaptors of the same size, so you can fit it to a connection with either a female or a male thread.

How to choose a hose
Choose the same thread as the compressor outlet or the dryer inlet. A smaller bore would needlessly restrict the flow, and the hose would heat up more at the compressor’s full output.
Choose a length that lets the hose run in a loose curve without being pulled taut. A compressor on vibration dampers moves when it starts up, and the hose has to take up that movement; a sharp bend right behind the end fitting, however, will damage it.
Wall mounting for a small vessel
For expansion and pressure vessels 50 to 425 mm in diameter, use mounting kit 99040003. The steel bracket with rubber inserts is screwed to the wall, and the stainless steel clamping band with a quick-release fastener wraps around the vessel shell. It can carry a vessel weighing up to 70 kg.

Kit or fully equipped vessel
You mount the kit on the vessel yourself: the safety valve is factory-set, and the valves, pressure gauge and plugs are simply screwed into the connections. It is the right choice if you already have a vessel or are buying one separately.
A fully equipped vessel arrives with the same fittings already mounted and with complete documentation, including the TÜV certification of the pressure assembly. You will find vessels without fittings among our pressure vessels from 100 to 720 l and vessels from 1000 to 3000 l.
You will find safety valves set to other pressures among our HEROSE safety valves and separate pressure gauges among our pressure gauges for compressed air. Condensate is reliably removed by an automatic condensate drain. The whole range of vessels is shown in our overview of pressure vessels.
Ventilek’s tip
Each kit belongs to exactly one vessel. The number in the kit code corresponds to the volume and pressure of the vessel, and the letter P or G to its finish. A galvanised vessel takes a KVG kit, even though at first glance the two kits differ by just one reducer.
- Which fittings kit do I need?
- That depends on the volume and finish of the vessel: a KVP kit for a painted vessel, a KVG kit of the same volume for a galvanised one. The number in the kit code corresponds to the volume and pressure of the vessel.
- Is the kit suitable for a compressor rated at 11 bar or more?
- No. The safety valve of the kit is set to 10.5 bar and would blow off at a higher cut-out pressure. For a higher pressure, choose a safety valve separately, set no higher than the vessel’s pressure rating.
- Does the kit fit a vessel from another manufacturer?
- The kits are put together to match the connections of Baglioni vessels. For another vessel, compare the threads of its connections with the list of fittings provided with each kit.
- What does the kit not include?
- The vessel, connecting hoses, an automatic condensate drain and thread sealant.
- Straight hose or one with an elbow?
- The straight FP hose suits places where it runs in a loose curve. The FPL hose with a 90° elbow can turn away from the connection immediately, for example along a wall or the vessel.
- Which hose bore should I choose?
- The same as the thread of the compressor outlet or the dryer inlet. A smaller bore would needlessly restrict the flow.
- Can the hose withstand hot air from the compressor?
- The hose is rated for −40 to +100 °C. Air from a compressor without an aftercooler tends to be hotter, so install the hose downstream of a cooler.
- What is supplied with the hose?
- The hose with female-thread swivel nuts at both ends and two adaptors with the same male thread.
Fittings kits: safety valve set to 10.5 bar, pressure gauge 0 to 16 bar, ball valves rated at 25 bar. Connecting hoses: rubber, working pressure 20 bar, temperature −40 to +100 °C.
