The smallest EPM set to ten bar. This setting only makes sense when something on the system genuinely needs ten bar — otherwise you are paying for pressure that gets throttled back at the point of use anyway.
Why 10 bar
Ten bar brings delivery down to 2,300 l/min. Against the seven-bar setting of the same machine that is 700 l/min less, close to a quarter of the air gone, and the three extra bar mean roughly 20 % higher consumption. It is the most expensive setting of the whole 15 kW machine.

Dimensions 1,200 × 800 × 1,100 mm, weight 480 kg, outlet R 1" and noise 66 dB(A) are identical at all three settings — it is one and the same machine.
How it differs from its neighbours
If ten bar really is needed and 2,300 l/min is not enough, the next step is SCR-18/10EPM with 2,900 l/min — still in the same cabinet. If less pressure would do, the same machine as SCR-15/7EPM gives 700 l/min more.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
A closed oil circuit and a bearingless design mean one less service item. On 15 kW it adds 5–6 % of saving against an ordinary IE2 motor on top of that.
Direct drive through a taper coupling
A taper coupling transmits the power with no belt losses. On a machine meant to run daily, what matters most is what does not need checking.
Frequency inverter
It comes down to 25 % of output, that is 580 l/min, and does not have to cycle. The soft start puts no more load on the supply than normal running.
Screw airend
A reground profile and optimised ports. On a machine giving 2,300 l/min the airend is the one part that cannot be improved afterwards — which is why it is new.
SCR9000 controller
A graphical schematic shows what is happening inside, the service schedule reminds you about the oil change. It runs a cascade of sixteen compressors with no separate control cabinet.
What the machine needs in the plant room
At 2,300 l/min you are looking at 138 m³ an hour — that is what the dryer and filtration are sized on, not the motor rating. At ten bar a dryer is usually more necessary than at seven: the higher the pressure, the more condensate drops out of the air.

Before ordering the ten-bar version we suggest walking the system: it often turns out that one machine wants the high pressure and deserves a small compressor of its own. The output overview is in the SCR-EPM range, and you can pick a receiver in air receivers.
It works, but the consumption matches. When only one workstation wants ten bar, boosting the pressure there is usually cheaper than doing it across the whole system.
