The seven-and-a-half-kilowatt two-stage pump runs at 1,150 rpm, the noise is 88 dB Lwa and the whole assembly weighs 448 kg.
Why a seven-and-a-half-kilowatt pump
A thousand litres a minute is the line above which one compressor can run several stations at the same time — two spray guns, air tools and blowing off as well. Below it the stations share the air and the line pressure fluctuates.
The open B70-7.5 pump delivers 1,210 l/min at 1,300 rpm in the Pro Line range and runs at 102 dB Lwa. In the cabinet it is slowed to 1,150 rpm and delivers 1,070 l/min, but the noise has dropped to 88 dB. A hundred and forty litres for fourteen decibels — on a machine this size that is a good trade.
