Silent Line LN · dryer · 1,070 l/minThe most dry air the category can do. B70-7.5-500L2TD gives 1,070 l/min at 11 bar — more than four hundred litres above the four-kilowatt machines. The seven-and-a-half-kilowatt two-stage pump runs at 1,150 rpm, noise comes out at 88 dB Lwa and the whole assembly weighs 448 kg.
Why a seven-and-a-half-kilowatt pump
A thousand litres a minute is the line above which one compressor can run several stations at the same time — two spray guns, air tools and blowing off on top. Below it the stations share the air and the pressure in the pipework swings. With the dryer in the cabinet there is also no worrying whether a separate dryer in the pipework can cope with that much air.
In the Pro Line range the open B70-7.5 pump gives 1,210 l/min at 1,300 rpm and has 102 dB Lwa. Inside the cabinet it is slowed to 1,150 rpm and gives 1,070 l/min, but the noise has dropped to 88 dB. A hundred and forty litres for fourteen decibels — on a machine this size that is a good trade.
