Silent Line LN · 270 l · star-deltaA calm run and a soft start. B59-4-270L2TX is the same machine as B59-4-270L2T, only with star-delta starting — the motor runs up in two steps, so the current surge at start-up is gentler. It delivers 570 l/min at 11 bar and holds 87 dB Lwa.
Why star-delta starting
On a direct start a three-phase motor draws a surge several times its rated current. Star-delta starting splits it into two steps: the winding is first connected in star at a lower voltage, and once the motor is up to speed it switches to delta. The surge is lower and the run-up softer.
It pays off where the supply is weak or long, where the breaker trips at start-up, or where the compressor cuts in many times an hour. Otherwise the machine behaves exactly like the direct-start version: the slowed pump delivers 570 l/min instead of the 653 l/min the open Pro Line version manages, and instead of 97 dB Lwa it comes out at 87 dB at 252 kg.
