ABAC Tech ATH · 15 bar · star-deltaA breakthrough in performance and start-up. ATH-4/15-BTX delivers 402 l/min at 15 bar — that's 72% more air compared to the 2.2 kW version. The letter X in the code indicates star-delta starting: the motor starts in two steps, so the inrush current peak at startup is significantly lower. The unit is mounted on a steel support frame, without its own tank.
What four kilowatts bring
The four-kilowatt unit draws in 570 l/min and, at the full operating pressure of 15 bar, delivers 402 l/min into the distribution system. That's already enough for technology with continuous demand or for several workstations at once — and since the motor runs in S1 mode, there's no need to factor in any cooling-down break.
The installation footprint is the same as for the smaller frame-mounted units, while the weight increases to 80 kg. From this power level upward, the code always includes X, so protection suitable for star-delta starting is required.
