ABAC Tech ATH · 15 bar · 270 lFifteen bar with reserve for peak demand. The ATH-5,5/15-270FTX is the same unit as the frame-mounted version, just mounted on a 270-litre horizontal air receiver. It delivers 552 l/min at 15 bar, starts via star-delta, and the S1 motor may run continuously through a full shift. The tank is certified for the operating pressure and forms the base of the whole assembly.
What two hundred seventy litres solve
An air receiver is not capacity, it's reserve for peak demand. For fifteen bar, it also holds that a tank of this size stores substantially more energy than the same volume at ten bar. The assembly thus covers demand spikes that a frame-mounted unit without a tank would have to chase with frequent motor cycling.
The cost is space and weight: the assembly measures 1,915 mm in length and weighs 211 kg. Anyone with their own certified tank can make do with the frame-mounted version, which is 110 kg lighter.
