ABAC Tech ATL · S1 100 % · star-deltaA jump in output, not in size. ATL-4-BTX delivers 402 l/min at 10 bar — almost twice what the two point two does — and still fits the same frame measuring 686 × 575 × 631 mm. The motor runs up through star-delta, so the current surge at start-up is gentler.
Why star-delta
On a direct start a three-phase motor draws a current surge several times its rated current. Star-delta starting splits it into two steps: the winding is first connected in star at a lower voltage and switches to delta once the motor is up to speed. At four kilowatts on continuous duty this stops being a choice and becomes a condition of the supply.
It makes no difference to how the machine runs afterwards. The pump still turns at 1,500 rpm and delivers 402 l/min at ten bar, with a noise level of 99 dB Lwa.
