A floor-mounted rotary screw compressorfor workshops that already have a receiver and only need to replace the air source. It takes up690 × 480 mmof floor space and weighs 99 kg.

- Can I connect it to a receiver I already own?
- Yes, and that is exactly what it is for. The vessel must be rated for at least 10 bar and hold a valid inspection. Go for 100 litres or more — anything smaller would make the compressor cycle too often.
- Why does it weigh the same as the stronger CROSS 900?
- The enclosure, frame and cooling are identical on both versions; only the motor and the air end differ. That is why the weight and footprint match — 99 kg and 690 × 480 mm.
- Will it fit under a workbench?
- At 787 mm it is a tight fit under most benches. Allow extra clearance for cooling as well — the maker asks for free space around the machine.
Air delivery measured per ISO 1217 ed. 4 (2009), annex E, at a reference pressure of 9.5 bar; noise per ISO 2151 (2004).
On its own this is only a source of air — you have to have the tank. With a 100-litre receiver it is sold as the CRS-4/10-100, with a 200-litre one as the CRS-4/10-200. If you do not need a variable speed drive because demand in the workshop barely fluctuates, fixed speed will do — that is the ABAC SPINN Mini series.
On its own it pushes air straight into the pipework. With nowhere to breathe it cycles over and over — which does no good to the machine or to your electricity bill.
