Spray painting
Water in the air leaves craters in the paint. Spraying without a dryer is not an option.
Air tools
Condensate washes the oil out of the line and tools corrode from the inside.
Long piping runs
The longer the pipe, the more water condenses in it. A dryer solves it at the source.

In winter condensate freezes in the couplings. Dry air removes the problem.

- +5 °C. The water condenses inside the machine, so the air entering your line will not condense again in an ordinary workshop.
- Can I spray paint straight away?

- How much bigger is it than the version without a dryer?
- Only 86 mm wider and 27 kg heavier. Length and height stay the same, so it fits the same spot.
Air delivery measured per ISO 1217 ed. 4 (2009), annex E, at a reference pressure of 9.5 bar; noise per ISO 2151 (2004).
The letter D is the whole difference: the same machine without a dryer is the CRS-4/10-200, 86 mm narrower and 27 kg lighter. Anyone who needs dry air and more than 498 l/min at the same time reaches for the CRS-7,5/10-200D. Above 7.5 kW the range then continues up to 15 kW with the ABAC SPINN Maxi series.
A pressure dew point of +5 °C means the air does not condense on its way through the pipes. Without it the droplets reach the gun exactly during the final coat.
