For continuous air demandThis is where the range turns a corner.The previous two models handle tools that take air in bursts. The four-kilowatt SPM-4 delivers516 litres per minute— 76% more than the entry model — and that is already enough for tools with continuous demand.
You pay for that jump with a single decibel:62 dB(A)instead of 61. The ratio of added air to added noise is the most favourable in the whole range right here.

150 l/min more for a single extra decibel — that is the step up from theSPM-3/10D-200. A further 264 l/min costs four decibels that you do hear in a workshop, and they are added by theSPM-5.5/10D-200. When the tools do not run flat out for the whole shift, the electricity bill is cut by theABAC SPINN SPV.

Continuous demand is not the same as a peak.The receiver covers a short peak but not continuous demand — that has to be met by the air end itself. That is why with grinders we look at l/min, not at receiver volume.
The smaller models assume you take air in bursts. From this 4 kW up, the machine also copes with tools that draw without a pause.
