The most sensible package in the range. For eight percent more power than the 3 kW it gives 510 l/min, in the same enclosure, with the same dryer and the same 200 l receiver. Weight 279 kg, footprint 0.82 m².
Why 10 bar, and how it is regulated
Ten bar set, four as the regulation floor. 128 l/min per kilowatt is the best ratio in the range — and because the receiver absorbs the peaks, the machine spends most of its time in the band where the inverter is most efficient.

All three outputs share the 1,257 × 655 × 1,364 mm enclosure, the weight of 279 kg and the noise level of 65 dB(A) — they differ only in air delivered and energy drawn. The last column shows how many litres you get from each kilowatt of input.
How it differs from its neighbours
Against the SCR-3/10APM-200D it adds 190 l/min and takes up nothing extra. Above it is the SCR-5,5/10APM-200D with 696 l/min, but that draws 37 % more power. The 4 kW is the point where output is still bought cheaply.
What is inside
Permanent magnet motor
Permanent magnets instead of a cage. On 4 kW it delivers 510 l/min, that is 128 litres for every kilowatt drawn.
Direct 1:1 drive
No belt to slip. The full 4 kW goes into the airend; nothing is lost in a drive train.
INOVANCE frequency inverter
Instead of blowing off the excess it reduces speed. Set the pressure anywhere between four and ten bar and the inverter will hold it.
Low-speed screw airend
The oil-lubricated airend delivers 510 l/min while staying at 65 dB(A). You can hold a conversation beside it.
IT7000 touchscreen controller
You schedule when the machine should run and it starts and stops itself. The backlit front panel shows across the whole workshop whether it is producing, unloading or stopped.
Where the machine fits
A height of 1,364 mm and a length of 1,257 mm means the package will pass through ordinary doors. The 1,600 m³/h ventilation figure applies across the range — but it matters more on a package, because the dryer sheds its heat into the same room.

Equipment
An RDL dryer, +5 °C dew point, R513a refrigerant, 130 W. The horizontal 200 l receiver forms the frame of the whole package, so the machine needs no separate base and no anchoring.

The version with two-stage filtration and a WOSM separator is the SCR-4/10APM-200FF. The machine alone, without a receiver, is the SCR-4/10APM. Additional receivers are in the air receivers, dryers in the air dryers.
When you do not know which package to take, this one is usually the right answer. The 3 kW saves in the wrong place, the 5.5 kW tends to be oversized.
