Same noise as the 2.2 kWA quarter more air, and just as quiet.The three-kilowatt motor delivers366 litres per minute— that is 72 l/min more than the entry model, yet the noise has not risen by a single decibel: still61 dB(A).
That is the entire reason this model exists. If your SPM-2.2 runs almost all the time, this is the cheapest step up and it costs nothing in operator comfort.
