Same noise as the 2.2 kWA quarter more air, and just as quiet. The three-kilowatt motor delivers 366 litres per minute — that is 72 l/min more than the entry model, yet the noise has not risen by a single decibel: still 61 dB(A).
That is the entire reason this model exists. If your SPM-2.2 runs almost all the time, this is the cheapest step up and it costs nothing in operator comfort.

The three is the middle model of the whole quartet, and the difference goes in a different direction each way. In terms of output, it differs from the entry-level model SPM-2,2/10D-200. However, continuous consumption from a grinder or a sandblasting gun will be handled by SPM-4/10D-200. And when consumption fluctuates a lot throughout the day, the ABAC SPINN SPV series adjusts its speed to match demand.
