Best output-to-noise ratioThe 3 kW is the one in the range that adds output for free — 360 l/min at peak against 293 on the 2.2, while the noise stays at 57 dB(A). The lower end of regulation is 139 l/min, so in quiet running it is nearly as economical as the smaller model.
For workshops that have outgrown the 2.2 but do not want a louder machine. Typically a metalworking shop or a car service with two bays.

What is inside
Under the canopy sits the C43 screw block driven from the motor by V-belts, a refrigerant dryer and a central automatic condensate drain.
Control is handled by the Infologic2 Connect unit with a colour display. It tracks the 2,000 – 4,000 – 6,000 running hours service intervals and allows machine monitoring and precise setting of the outlet pressure.

Smaller and 67 l/min weaker is the SPV-2,2/10D-200 at the same noise level. Upwards comes the SPV-4/10D-200, which adds 143 l/min for a single decibel. Without a drive but cheaper, the same machines are in the ABAC SPINN Mini range.
Between the 2.2 and the 3 kW the difference is only in the block speed, not in the canopy or the cooling. That is why the sound stays the same.
