The B60-5.5-500FT pumps 827 l/min into 500 l at 11 bar; from the 1/2" ball valve the pipes run to the workstations: a 5.5 kW motor on 400 V, 1,400 rpm, 260 kg. For a workshop where a piston machine is still enough, but air is drawn from four places.
Why a stationary 500 l with the B60
Four workstations on the pipes draw in bursts and the 500 at 11 bar evens those bursts out; the B60 pump with 827 l/min tops it up before the next one comes. The machine stands on feet in the compressor room, has a switch with a gauge, a 1/2" ball valve on the outlet and a condensate valve; the regulators with filters go at the workstations. With 102 dB Lwa and 82 dB at 4 m the compressor room is the only right place. If you need 15 bar, the B60 with the 500 also comes in a 15 bar version.

If you draw air without pauses for the whole hall, you need a screw compressor.

Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
