The B70-7.5-270FT: 1,210 l/min into 270 l at 11 bar, a 1/2" ball valve outlet straight into the pipes: a 7.5 kW motor on 400 V, 1,300 rpm, 196 kg; no castors and no regulator here.
Why a stationary B70 with 270 l
Where the compressor room is small and the draw is big: 270 l is half a metre shorter than the 500 and the B70 pump with 1,210 l/min evens out the bursts on its own. Nothing extra on the machine — a switch with a gauge, a 1/2" ball valve on the outlet, a condensate valve and feet; regulation and filters at the workstations. The noise of 102 dB Lwa (82 dB at 4 m) is another reason for a door between the machine and the people. If your draw gets close to the pump running non-stop, you are at the limit of a piston machine — that is where the screw compressor comes in.

Castors, a handle and a regulator on the same pump and tank are added by the B70-7.5-270CT; a bigger tank on feet is on the B70-7.5-500FT. Its place among the six machines on feet is shown on the B59B to B70 range page; the B59B and B60 pumps on an upright tank for a small compressor room are the upright VT versions. A draw without pauses for the whole hall calls for a screw compressor.
Values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Air displacement is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
