Product detailed description
B59B · stationary · 500 l · 653 l/min · 11 barA 500 l tank on feet with the smallest pump of the range. The B59B-4-500FT stands in the compressor room and tops up 500 l at 11 bar with the B59B pump: 653 l/min at 1,400 rpm, a 4 kW motor on 400 V, 219 kg, a 1/2" ball valve outlet into the pipework. For a workshop where the air runs through pipes to two or three workstations.
Why a stationary 500 l with the B59B
If you run the air through pipes, you need neither castors nor a regulator on the machine: the B59B-4-500FT has feet, a switch with a gauge and a 1/2" ball valve, downstream of which the pipework starts with regulators and filters at the workstations. The 500 at 11 bar evens out the peaks when two guns draw at once, and the pump with 653 l/min tops it up in the pauses. The noise of the pump stays behind the door of the compressor room too: 97 dB Lwa, 77 dB at 4 m. If you need dry air straight from the machine, the same set-up comes with a dryer.
Equipment and details
What the B59B-4-500FT has from the factory
- two-stage twin-cylinder B59B pump with cast-iron cylinders and an intercooler, oil-lubricated, with an oil sight glass; V-belt drive under a belt guard, 1,400 rpm
- three-phase 4 kW (5.5 hp) electric motor, 400 V / 50 Hz, thermal overload protection; automatic stop/start pressure switch with a gauge
- air intake 653 l/min, pressure 11 bar, aftercooler on the pump outlet
- horizontal 500 l tank on feet with a valve for draining condensate; 1/2" ball valve outlet into the pipework (regulator, filter and quick couplings at the workstation)
- stationary version without castors or a handle — for a fixed spot in the compressor room
- noise 97 dB Lwa, 77 dB at 4 m
- AirTube QR code on the tank opens service videos; 2-year warranty (extension to 3 years at extra cost), 10 years on the tank against rusting through

Where next if the B59B-4-500FT is not the right fit
The same 500 on castors is the B59B-4-500CT; one pump size up, on feet, is the B60-5.5-500FT. The whole range is shown on the B59B to B70 range page; dry air straight from the machine comes from the version with a dryer. Downstream of the ball valve in the pipes goes a pressure regulator with a filter.
Values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Air intake is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.
Ventilek advises
For a workshop with pipework: 500 l on feet, the B59B pump and the regulators at the workstations.

The company ABAC has been one of the most important manufacturers of piston compressors on the world market since its establishment in 1980 . Currently, the brand ABAC is owned by ATLAS COPCO, the largest compressor manufacturer in the world and is part of the multinational group PAD (Professional Air Division). The goal of the ABAC brand is to become a world leader in the development, production and sale of piston compressors.

Production at company ABAC
ABAC compressors are manufactured in 5 production centers around the world, with an annual production of almost 2 million compressors. The brand's parent plant ABAC in Turin, Italy employs around 250 employees and is primarily focused on the design and production of professional V-belt compressors with a daily production capacity of over 600 machines. The ABAC plant also has extensive warehouse facilities with several thousand compressors available for immediate delivery.

Innovative concept
ABAC does not only mean compressor production. We are directly involved in the development of key innovations and advanced solutions and set trends in the compressor market. The efforts of our designers have resulted in, for example, an aerodynamic pulley housing for temperature reduction of up to 35°C, the revolutionary XPAND hose reel compressor or the PRO LINE ZERO oil-free compressors with V-belts. In the ABAC program you will always find the most modern and unique solution for compressed air production on the market.

A modern solution
We are a modern company that is aware of the current trends around us. We are bringing advanced technologies to the compressor industry, such as the use of QR codes and the AIR TUBE app to make it easier for the user of our compressor to access the information they need. We use social media, chat and multimedia instead of traditional marketing and documentation formats. With compressors ABAC you will always have convenient access to all the necessary information.

Compressor program
In the supplier program of the ABAC brand you will find 100%. The basic range includes 100% from small portable compressors for home applications to larger stationary compressors for permanent deployment.
