The B60-4-500FT puts 660 l/min from the low-speed B60 pump with 4 kW into a 500 l tank on feet — 1,100 rpm, 97 dB Lwa and 77 dB at 4 m, a 1/2" ball valve outlet into the pipework. For an operation where air is drawn for the whole shift and goes through pipes to the workstations.
Why an FT with 4 kW
A machine on feet stays put, so there is no handle, no castors and no regulator with quick couplings on it — the air leaves through a 1/2" ball valve into the pipework and a regulator with a filter goes at every workstation. The low-speed B60 pump with 4 kW suits a place where the compressor cuts in from morning till evening, but the draw is not at the limit: the pump runs at 1,100 rpm and cooler, and the noise stays at 97 dB Lwa, 77 dB at 4 m, as on the other B60-4s. The pressure switch with a gauge watches the 11 bar in the tank; the condensate is drained by a valve under the tank.

Where next if the B60-4-500FT is not the right fit
The same 500 on castors is the B60-4-500CT; more displacement on feet with the B70 pump comes from the B70-5.5-500FT. Every workstation downstream of the pipework gets a pressure regulator with a filter. Values apply to a 400 V / 50 Hz supply. Air intake is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise is given as the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles (topping up the tank and pausing), not continuously.

A compressor room for a smaller workshop: the machine runs slowly and for long spells, the 500 l tank holds the reserve, and at the workstations everybody sets their own pressure on the regulator.
