The B70-5.5-270CT has the cast-iron two-stage B70 pump with a 5.5 kW motor at 1,100 rpm and draws in 1,023 l/min at 11 bar — instead of the 1,210 l/min and 1,300 rpm of the standard B70-7.5. A handle, castors with brakes and a regulator with two quick couplings for a body shop or an assembly workshop with three people on the tools.
Why a B70 with 5.5 kW on 270 l
The B70 pump is one size bigger than the B60, and even with the smaller 5.5 kW motor it gives 1,023 l/min — more than the standard B60-5.5 with 827 l/min, and at 1,100 rpm at that. With a 270 l tank it is the shortest machine with the B70 pump on castors: half a metre shorter than the 500, and you move it around the workshop by the handle — two swivel castors with brakes at the front, big wheels at the rear. The regulator with two DN 7.2 quick couplings splits the air between two people; two gauges show the pressure in the tank and at the outlet. The noise of 102 dB Lwa, 82 dB at 4 m, is the same as on the standard B70-7.5 — here the low-speed version brings a lower temperature and fewer strokes per minute, not fewer decibels.
