The B60-5.5-270VT fills a vertical 270 l tank to 11 bar with the cast-iron two-stage B60 pump: a 5.5 kW motor, 1,400 rpm, displacement 827 l/min; noise 102 dB Lwa and 82 dB at 4 m, the highest in the range. For a tyre shop with several lifts or a body shop where the grinder runs all afternoon and the compressor has to stand in a corner.
Why the B60 and not the B70 on end
The B60 pump gives 174 l/min more than the B59B from the same 850 × 970 mm footprint and the same 2,100 mm height — air for a grinder and an impact wrench at once, or for three lifts. ABAC does not put the bigger B70 pump with 1,210 l/min on a vertical tank; if you need it, you go to the horizontal machines on 270 or 500 l. The B60-5.5-270VT is also the loudest machine of the range, 102 dB Lwa and 82 dB at 4 m — it belongs in the compressor room or in the corner of the hall, not by the bench. Outlet through a ball valve on the side of the tank, condensate through a valve in the bottom, regulators at the workstations.
