The B59B-4-270VT draws in 653 l/min with the two-stage B59B pump and a 4 kW motor at 1,400 rpm and fills 270 l to 11 bar; 97 dB Lwa and 77 dB at 4 m. For a tyre shop, body shop or paint shop where the air is drawn for long stretches and the compressor has to stand in a corner.
Why the B59B instead of the A49B on the same tank
Both pumps have a 4 kW motor and both fill 270 l to 11 bar; the B59B gives 653 l/min instead of 595 and has cylinders cast in iron — for long runs under load with a sander, a gun or sandblasting in bursts. You pay for it in height and footprint: the B range machine stands on 850 × 970 mm and is 2,100 mm tall, the A49BP-4-270VT on 830 × 644 mm and 1,714 mm. On the plate above the tank, next to the pump, sit the pressure switch, the rating plate and the noise sticker; the air leaves through a ball valve on the side of the tank, the condensate through a valve in the bottom.
