The A49BP-2.2-270VM fills a vertical 270 l tank to 11 bar with the two-stage A49B pump and a single-phase 2.2 kW motor on 230 V, displacement 444 l/min; noise 93 dB Lwa, 73 dB at 4 m — the lowest in the range. For a single-phase workshop where a sander or a spray gun needs a reserve and 11 bar, but the floor has no spare metre and a half.
Why two stages on a single phase
The 2.2 kW motor for the socket has the same power as on the A39BP-2.2-150VM, but the A49B pump puts it to use in two stages with an intercooler: the first cylinder compresses the air to an intermediate pressure, the second takes it up to 11 bar. A tank at 11 bar holds more air than one of the same size at 10 bar; 270 l on end gives a gun or a sander a longer spell of work before the motor cuts in again. With 93 dB Lwa and 73 dB at 4 m it is the least noisy machine of all seven. If your workshop has 400 V, take the same pump with 3 or 4 kW and more displacement.
