Expert · 270 l · 400 V · 393 l/minThe biggest Expert in the range. On the A39BP-2.2-270CT a 270 l tank carries the A39B pump with a 2.2 kW motor on 400 V — 393 l/min of displacement at 1,050 rpm, 10 bar, 138 kg; the Expert adds a closed handle, two front swivel castors with brakes and a filter next to the regulator. For an operation where several tools take turns on one machine and the air should leave without condensate.
Why 270 l in the Expert spec
The longest reserve in the range lets two people with a short draw or one gun in long passes feed from the tank while the A39B pump tops it up at 393 l/min; the motor starts less often than with the smaller tanks. The outlet filter keeps condensate out of the hose, the handle with a rubber grip and the two front swivel castors with brakes shift and fix a machine of 1,495 × 588 × 1,079 mm and 138 kg. If you want 486 l/min with this tank, take the 3 kW in the Extensive spec. The noise does not change with the tank size: 95 dB Lwa, 75 dB at 4 m.

The same tank with 3 kW and 486 l/min is the Extensive A39BT-3-270CT, for an ordinary socket the A39BT-2.2-270CM. How it differs from the smaller Experts and from the 3 kW is shown on the A39B range page; the biggest tanks of other brands are among compressors with a 270 l tank. A higher pressure of 11 bar comes with the two-stage A49B.
Values apply to a 50 Hz supply. Air intake is the amount of air the pump draws in; how much of it reaches the tool depends on the pressure and the tank. Noise: the sound power level Lwa and the sound pressure at 4 m from the machine. A piston compressor works in cycles, not continuously.
