The A49BP-3-270VT draws in 553 l/min with the two-stage A49B pump and a three-phase 3 kW motor into a vertical 270 l tank at 11 bar; the pump runs at 1,300 rpm, noise 96 dB Lwa and 76 dB at 4 m. For a trade workshop with a three-phase supply, where sanding, spraying and blowing off go on but the compressor has to stand in a corner.
Why 3 kW between 2.2 and 4
Three kilowatts turn the A49B pump at 1,300 rpm and give 553 l/min — 109 l/min more than the version for the socket, 42 less than the version with 4 kW. It is a machine for a workshop that has 400 V and draws air with a sander and a gun in turns, not for long stretches: the 270 l tank at 11 bar holds the reserve and the motor cuts in during the pauses. It stands on 830 × 644 mm, has its outlet through a ball valve on the side of the tank and drains the condensate through a valve in the bottom between the legs. If two people draw air at once, reach for the 4 kW or for the cast-iron B59B.
