The B79-7.5-500FT has the two-stage twin-cylinder B79 pump with a 7.5 kW motor, which runs at 900 rpm and draws in 1,130 l/min into a 500 l tank on feet, 11 bar. A machine for the compressor room of a hall with several draw-off points.
Why the B79 and 900 rpm
The B79 is a bigger pump than the B70 — which is why it gives more air at 900 rpm than the B70 at 1,100: 1,130 l/min against 1,023. The 7.5 kW motor turns it through belts under a wire-mesh guard; the pistons do the fewest strokes per minute in the whole range. We carry it in a single version, stationary with a 500 l tank: a pressure switch with a gauge, a 1/2" ball valve outlet into the pipework, regulators with a filter at the workstations. The noise is the same as on the B70 pump: 102 dB Lwa, 82 dB at 4 m. If you need even more air from one piston machine, ABAC has the tandem with two pumps on one tank.
