ABAC Tech ATH · 20 bar · 90 lThe smallest high-pressure assembly that just needs to be set up and connected. ATH-1,5/20-90FT is the same two-stage unit as the frame-mounted version, just mounted on a 90 l horizontal air receiver, which also serves as the base. The tank is certified for the operating pressure, so you don't have to worry about what your existing equipment can withstand. The delivery rate is 126 l/min at 20 bar, and the motor is allowed to run continuously.
What is ninety litres at twenty bar good for
The air receiver compensates for the difference between what the machine delivers and what the application is currently drawing off. At twenty bar, ninety litres of compressed air holds a substantially larger energy reserve than at ten bar — the tank thus behaves as if it were much larger than its volume would suggest. This reduces the number of motor starts and stabilizes pressure.
For continuous draw-off, however, what matters is the delivery rate, not the tank volume. Ninety litres will help bridge short peaks; when the application draws off continuously more than 126 l/min, a stronger machine is needed, not a bigger air receiver.
