Quietest in the range — 64 dB(A)The way into the complete SPINN Maxi sets. The compressor, a 270-litre receiver and a refrigerant dryer sit in one frame, so there is no assembling a set from parts. It delivers 696 l/min at 10 bar and at 64 dB(A) it is the quietest machine in the whole range.
For smaller workshops and paint shops where spraying or sensitive tools are involved and no separate plant room is to be built. The machine can stand right in the working area.
What sets the SPN-5,5/10DX-270 apart
Three devices, one frame
Compressor, vessel and dryer arrive together and take up 1,543 × 720 mm. Assembling them separately would mean more space and more joints where air can leak.
Dry air straight away
The refrigerant dryer with eco-friendly R513A takes the water out right at the outlet. No moisture then goes into the pipework to ruin tools or paintwork.
Condensate without daily attention
The central automatic condensate drain does away with daily manual draining and reliably takes the water out of the system.
64 dB(A)
The quietest machine in the range. The difference against the 15 kW is seven decibels, which you hear immediately.
What is inside
Under the canopy sits the C55 screw block, driven from the motor by V-belts. Beside it the cooler, the oil circuit and the separator, a refrigerant dryer using R513A and a central automatic condensate drain.
Control is handled by the Infologic2 unit with a display. The oil sight glass is on the outside of the canopy and the panels come off, so checking the oil or changing filters does not take half a day.

A bigger reserve of air and 300 l/min more comes with the SPN-7,5/10DX-500. If you need neither the dryer nor the vessel because they are already in the pipework, the bare SPN-7,5/10X unit is enough. And below 696 l/min the range continues with ABAC SPINN Mini.
Water condenses out of the air far down the pipework, a kilometre from the compressor. When the machine takes it out at the outlet, there is nothing left to spoil the gun.
