Product detailed description
The stronger CROSS with a 200-litre receiver.Compressor and receiver in one unit,848 litres of air per minuteat 10 bar — enough to feed four or five air tools at once.
The seven-and-a-half kilowatt motor with its variable speed drive handlescontinuous duty. At 63 dB(A) it is still quiet enough to stand in the workshop itself.
First service after 2,000 hours
What to know before you buy
Continuous duty
Unlike a piston compressor it needs no cool-down breaks — it runs a whole shift.
400 V supply
A three-phase connection is required. Soft start loads your fuses far less than a piston machine.
Service after 2,000 h
The first service is due after two thousand operating hours or one year.
Smooth running
Two rotors compress the air continuously — none of the pulsation a piston machine sends into your piping.
What it looks like in service
The stronger package with a two-hundred-litre vessel. It feeds several workstations at once.
At 63 dB(A) the machine stands in the workshop itself — no separate compressor room and no long pipe run, usually the most expensive part of the installation in a small shop.
Who this particular model is for

Plasma, grinders, blow-off.

More bays on one line.

Continuous demand with no pressure drop.
Which CROSS to choose
The usual question is not whether to buy a screw compressor, but which one from the range. Here is this model next to its closest neighbours.

Frequently asked questions about this model
- How many tools will it feed at once?
- 848 l/min at 10 bar covers four or five ordinary air tools at once, depending on their consumption.
- Do I need a dryer?
- For spray painting, yes — then take the CRS-7,5/10-200D straight away. For impact wrenches and blow-off you can manage without.
- What electrical protection does it need?
- A three-phase 400 V supply. Thanks to the variable speed drive the inrush current is far lower than on a piston machine of the same rating — we are happy to confirm the exact figure for you.
Air delivery measured per ISO 1217 ed. 4 (2009), annex E, at a reference pressure of 9.5 bar; noise per ISO 2151 (2004).
Eight hundred and forty-eight litres a minute will feed four to five tools at once — they just come out damp. Dry air straight at the outlet is what the CRS-7,5/10-200D gives. For two or three tools the CRS-4/10-200, 350 l/min weaker, is enough. Above 7.5 kW the range continues with the ABAC SPINN Maxi series.
Eight hundred and forty-eight litres a minute is plenty for a whole crew. The water comes out with it, though — either you add a dryer to the pipework, or you take the D version straight away.

The company ABAC has been one of the most important manufacturers of piston compressors on the world market since its establishment in 1980 . Currently, the brand ABAC is owned by ATLAS COPCO, the largest compressor manufacturer in the world and is part of the multinational group PAD (Professional Air Division). The goal of the ABAC brand is to become a world leader in the development, production and sale of piston compressors.

Production at company ABAC
ABAC compressors are manufactured in 5 production centers around the world, with an annual production of almost 2 million compressors. The brand's parent plant ABAC in Turin, Italy employs around 250 employees and is primarily focused on the design and production of professional V-belt compressors with a daily production capacity of over 600 machines. The ABAC plant also has extensive warehouse facilities with several thousand compressors available for immediate delivery.

Innovative concept
ABAC does not only mean compressor production. We are directly involved in the development of key innovations and advanced solutions and set trends in the compressor market. The efforts of our designers have resulted in, for example, an aerodynamic pulley housing for temperature reduction of up to 35°C, the revolutionary XPAND hose reel compressor or the PRO LINE ZERO oil-free compressors with V-belts. In the ABAC program you will always find the most modern and unique solution for compressed air production on the market.

A modern solution
We are a modern company that is aware of the current trends around us. We are bringing advanced technologies to the compressor industry, such as the use of QR codes and the AIR TUBE app to make it easier for the user of our compressor to access the information they need. We use social media, chat and multimedia instead of traditional marketing and documentation formats. With compressors ABAC you will always have convenient access to all the necessary information.

Compressor program
In the supplier program of the ABAC brand you will find 100%. The basic range includes 100% from small portable compressors for home applications to larger stationary compressors for permanent deployment.
