Class 0 Oil-Free Air

Compressed air quality is defined by the ČSN ISO 8573-1 standard. This standard defines air quality classes in terms of individual contaminants: water, solid contaminants and oil.
The output oil content of the SCR-XA series scroll compressors achieves the highest possible Class 0 according to this standard and is certified by the renowned notified body TÜV Rheinland.

Functional principles

The scroll compressor produces compressed air based on the principle of volumetric compression in a scroll block, which consists of a fixed and a moving scroll. The moving scroll performs a circular motion, during which air is drawn in from the surroundings into the space between the two scrolls from the outer peripheral side. During movement, the air is carried towards the centre of the assembly, reducing its volume and increasing pressure.

SCR-XA compressors use scroll blocks from the world's largest manufacturer, the Japanese company ANEST IWATA. All blocks are manufactured by a robotic production line, ensuring first-class quality and excellent technical parameters.

Models with power inputs up to 30 kW

The SCR-XA series of scroll compressors are available in a wide range of outputs, including rated machine power inputs from 2.2 up to 30 kW. Starting with the SCR 7 XA model, the compressors are supplied in a so-called multi-version and are equipped with several scroll blocks. This arrangement makes it possible to adapt the air supply to the current consumption by controlled switching on of the compressor units.

Modern electronic control unit

The operation of the SCR-XA series compressors is ensured by a modern SCR9000 electronic control unit with simple operation via a colour 7" touch display or eight navigation buttons. The SCR9000 unit has many useful features for monitoring compressor status, operating and service settings and necessary alarms.

For SCR-XA compressors with several scroll blocks, the SCR9000 control unit ensures their sequential automatic switching on and off according to air consumption requirements. This results in significant running optimisation. Additionally, the operational status of the units is taken into account during operation to ensure they are evenly loaded.
